Once we release the binds of attachment, it is then we will come to know.

That we are merely visitors, in this world we claim to know.

This wasn’t something I read as much as something I stood inside.

A quiet recognition. Thank you.

“Present in every cavity of the universe” - love this line, so much is packed into these 7 words ✍️🌌

Indeed, you have known him

When your brain is unable to comprehend him

Because the reality of his existence is truly real

Present in every cavity of the universe

Encompassing everything that exists

Because his truth is true

Then, truly, you are with him.

This is my reason for feeling calm.

As reading the essay/poem and the comments it is clear that this one is exactly beyond words. If one writes "he" it doesn't fit. She neither. It neither. Even nothing as a word, not. That is the limitation of them. I guess whatever it is, it is one of the reasons why writers write, why painters paint, why seekers search, both unsatisfied and passionately determined in the hopeless attempt to word/paint/get it.

It's truly gratifying that you've provided such valuable and meaningful commentary on this poem, taking the time to read it and understand the comments. You've provided a profound message and explanation of something within this poem. It's truly impressive that you've captured the essence of a writer and painter who play with artistic imagination to reveal something unique, even something abstract beyond human comprehension, into a tangible work. Have a wonderful day.

What I appreciate is the insistence that recognition is in fact ethical: purity of attention, sincerity of stance, honesty of perception.

When “He” cannot be grasped by the mind, what’s left is how we live, how we speak, how we breathe.

Transcendence tested by conduct is the only kind that survives contact with the world.

I read twice. The first time I had images of church in the beginning. The second time I remembered a line from a movie “He is in us and all around us.”

My interpretation from my own perspective is your poem is not specifically religious. It is an explanation of universal truths that we are all in communion with the universe. Our potential is unlimited if we believe in the goodness within ourselves. I like a poem that makes me reach inside. Excellent work.

Thank you for your comment. I really appreciate your explanation, and it adds color to this poem. Religious understanding is understanding the recognition of God's existence. This is an implementation of the statement that God is one, perhaps applicable to Christians, Muslims, and religions that believe in only one God who controls the universe. Have a wonderful day.

Really well done.

That's as close to a description of the Divine as I've ever felt in words.

Now, back down here in reality, my mind had a dashing wish that you had added a PS--no laughing, I am no poet--describing two, really big ears because every molecule of me and everything I run into these days knows it's about time for all of us to stop, look up and scream "HELP!"
